Hey all you people in Toronto....Get ready.....Hot Little Rocket will be playing at the Silver Dollar as part of the Endearing Records showcase for Canadian Music Week. We will be on stage on Saturday March 1st at about 10:00pm. Bring a friend, bring a well bank-rolled A and R rep, bring us some fine cheese. See You Soon. There could be an "I" in "Team" if you spelt it "Teiam", but then you'd just have bad spelling now, would'nt you. I think our e-mail works because we've heard from some of you, but give it a try just to see. Always standing on a corner waiting for a train....Capn' FD

Watch Going Coastal on Much Music March 2nd at 9:00pm MTN time. Check your local listings 'cause I've been known not to listen to Mark when he's telling me things or trying to let me know when the changes are. We had a great interview with Chris Nelson and had an excellent show at the Den. Thanks for supporting Live Music. We are in the studio as we speak and things are going very well. The Senator has been replaced by a robot, whom will have no trouble tapping into the circuits of every electrical appliance in the vicinity to create the perfect whirring and buzzing noises we require. We are about 1/2 done and everything is sounding amazing. We will be appearing in March at various locations asking for hand-outs....so keep posted. E-mail us, we take requests. Capn' FD

Hot Little Rocket will be playing at the DEN at the University of Calgary for Going Coastal's "Much Music Does Calgary." The show is Wednesday, January 29th. Show up and Yell. In other news we are going into the studio for our third attempt at doing good and not evil. We are being coached by Dave Alcock and Aaron Booth (he is sending us love notes from far away). If you were in town for the Christmas season and happened to be at the Night Gallery on the 28th...Yes that was us on stage and we thank you for being there it was a very fun evening. Those Minks sure are good Minks. Email us. We don't hear from you nearly enough. Love Mom and Dad.

Hello!!!
We have played bars, cabarets, foyers, mason halls, city parks, basements, dining establishments, parties, burnt out shells, fields, studios, power plants and now finally we have played a martini bar/cocktail lounge. Thank you Ming...it was a fun evening.
We have rocked you in Regina, we have shown you our ugly side in London, we have driven fast through Chicago and yes...we have even had a few drinks in Edmonton...but it's great to be home. We are now in our respective abodes, eating home cooked meals(KD counts as home cooked) and living our regular 9-5, 2-10, 10-2, 10-7, 7-12 lives. We are going into the studio with Super Dave Alcock and hope to have the goods on tape by early January. So come out to our shows and buy our shirts 'cause we need the coins. Cocaine isn't cheap. Aaaight!!!
PS email us with jokes or stories... apparently our stage banter is below substandard. Cheers, Capn' FD

Leggo My Eggo,
We have just finished an in depth study of the physical and mental capacities of four men in a mini-van for 15000 km's. We may feel again one day. We are playing at the Night Gallery with Papermoon Saturday Oct. 19 and in Edmonton at the Power Plant with Papermoon and Greg Macpherson on Saturday Oct 26. Come out and have some drinks with us. We missed you. We are also going to be on WIRED on A Channel this week. We will post pic's and stories when we can face our demons once again. Please email us and tell us a story..we like stories. We are playing in Windsor tomorrow at the Lift and back to Winnipeg for our final show on the great Canadian tour I'll do a final analysis when I get to Winnipeg and give you the ups and downs of a Calgary band trying to break the East/ West barrier that divides this expansive nation of ours. Capn' FD

So we are in Ottawa....all is a blur. haven't been able to update until now....boooo.
We have played various shows in exotic locales across this grand country of ours. Most are in the grand province of Ontario and lie near the 401 highway. Ok, as I recall we played Winnipeg Sep 26. Yeah Winnipeg. We will be playing Winnipeg again this Saturday Oct 12 with Papermoon. The third in a five part series which spans the country. Our nations capitol is quite marvellous. I would say the 2nd most beautiful city I have witnessed to date. We are playing tonight with Greg Macpherson of Winnipeg town at the Babylon in downtown Ottawa. We are playing next door to Andrew W.K. and Danko Jones and wish we could have a nice tour bus like them...send us money if you have it. P.S. Andrew W.K. isn't as oogly in person. Capn' FD

Everywhere we go, they're playing "Barracuda". -AW

Sept 29 - We had a day off which was spent picnicin' on the lake shore. We were having a grand old time until the Senator fell in the lake.
the Senator is angry....We headed to Newmarket where Mooshead is plentiful and Trivial Pursuit is king. The answer is .....David Hasselhoff.
